Checkpoint64 offers one launch option for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A launch option is a switch the game reads from its command line when it starts. Tick it in Checkpoint64 and the app adds it every time you press LAUNCH, or type it into Steam yourself.

Launching The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with it in Checkpoint64
- Open your The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt save in Checkpoint64. LAUNCH appears there when the game is installed through Steam on that PC.
- Open Launch options under it and tick the option — it shows the explanation above.
- Press LAUNCH: Checkpoint64 starts The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt through Steam with it.
Your picks are saved to your Checkpoint64 account per platform, so a Windows PC and a Linux machine each keep their own set.
Adding it in Steam yourself
- In your Steam Library, right-click The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and choose Properties.
- On the General tab, find Launch Options.
- Type the option — for example
--launcher-skip— and close the window.
Launch options change how The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt starts, not your saves. If the game won't start after adding one, take it back out.
